Institutional Quality & Security
100% Private & Secure
We believe financial statements are highly confidential. The converter runs fully in your web browser with PDF.js, and uses Tesseract.js OCR for scanned files. No bank details, transactions, or balance data are ever uploaded to a server.
Institutional Heuristics
Our spatial algorithms match and structure transaction tables automatically across banks worldwide, including Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, HSBC, Barclays, HDFC, SBI, ICICI, and Emirates NBD.
Interactive Table Editor
You get a clean grid editor, not a black box. Add rows, adjust amounts, fix dates, or erase lines on screen, then download as Excel (XLSX), CSV, JSON, QuickBooks (.qbo), or Quicken (.ofx).

Drop your PDF
Download your statement from your bank's portal. Drag it onto the upload zone — or click to browse. Up to 10 files at once.
Review in the editor
Every transaction appears in a live editable table. Double-click any cell to fix it. The fraud detector and financial health score run automatically.
Export your format
Click Export and pick Excel, CSV, JSON, QuickBooks (.qbo), or Quicken (.ofx). The QBO and OFX files import into QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Tally, and Zoho Books. The file downloads instantly, and nothing is stored anywhere.
Exports straight into your accounting stack
It doesn't just convert. It thinks.
Most converters hand you a raw table and call it done. This one runs eight intelligence checks on every statement automatically.
Fraud Detection
Flags duplicate charges, round-number withdrawals over $100, and transactions between 11pm and 5am, on every statement.
Math Validator
Recalculates every balance figure. Banks make arithmetic errors, and this catches them before they cost you money.
Financial Health Score
A score out of 100 from your savings rate, spending spread, subscription load, and income consistency.
Multi-Currency & Islamic Mode
9 currencies with live formatting. Islamic Finance mode tags halal and haram transactions by merchant keyword.
Auto-Categorization
Sorts each transaction into Salary, Groceries, Dining, Utilities, Transfers, and more, so you can total by type.
Spending Breakdown
A category breakdown and a balance-trend chart, built from your transactions the moment they load.
Cash Flow Summary
Total in, total out, and net cash flow for the period, calculated on the spot.
Scanned-PDF OCR
Statement is a scan or a photo? Local OCR reads the image in your browser, with no upload.

| Export formats | Excel, CSV, JSON, QBO, OFX | Usually Excel & CSV |
| Price | Free, no signup | Paywalled after a few pages |
Works with 1,000+ banks worldwide
Any bank that generates a text-based PDF statement. We've tested with:
If you can select text inside your PDF in Adobe Reader, this tool reads it.
Why accountants choose this over everything else
Every other converter ships your bank statement to a server somewhere. You upload it, they process it, they return it. Your account numbers, your salary, your credit card history — sitting on a machine you've never seen, owned by people you've never met.
This tool is different in one fundamental way: nothing leaves your browser. The entire PDF parsing engine runs locally using PDF.js and Tesseract.js. The export engine generates the file in memory and hands it to your download manager. Your statement files and transactions stay 100% local on your computer.
Accountants processing client statements love this. Bookkeepers dealing with sensitive payroll data love this. Anyone who has to sign an NDA before touching someone else's finances loves this. Your client's data stays with you.
And because it's all local — it's also fast. No upload time. No queue. No processing wait. Drop a 200-page annual statement and the parser runs in seconds on your own hardware.
What this converter does with a real statement
Your statement never reaches a server
Most free converters upload your PDF, parse it on their server, and send a file back. Your account number, salary, and card history end up on a machine you don't control. This one parses everything in your browser with PDF.js. Load the page, switch off your Wi-Fi, and a text-based statement still converts. No upload happens, so there's nothing to leak.
Text-based PDFs vs scanned statements
A text-based PDF is the kind you download from online banking, where you can select the text in Adobe Reader. The parser reads that text layer and lines up dates, descriptions, and amounts in a few seconds. Scanned statements and phone photos have no text layer, only an image, so the tool runs OCR (Tesseract) in your browser to read them. OCR is slower and less exact, so check those numbers before you export.
Where copy-paste and cheap converters break
Paste a statement table into Excel and one transaction often spreads across rows, the date glues onto the description, and the running balance vanishes. Renaming the file to .csv has the same problem: a comma inside "SMITH, JOHN PAYMENT" pushes the rest of the line into the wrong columns. This converter groups text by its position on the page instead of by commas, so a description with a comma stays in one cell. After it separates deposits from withdrawals, it re-checks every row against the running balance and corrects the ones where the math doesn't add up.
Checks that run on every statement
A few things happen as soon as your transactions load:
- Duplicate charges, the same merchant and amount twice
- Round-number withdrawals over $100
- Late-night transactions between 11pm and 5am
- A balance check that recalculates opening plus deposits minus withdrawals and flags any gap
You also get category tags and a financial health score, so a plain export turns into something you can read at a glance.
Edit before you export
No parser is perfect on an unusual layout. Every transaction lands in an editable table first, so you can double-click a cell to fix a date or amount, add a missing row, or delete a stray line, then export once it reads correctly.
Multiple months in one sheet
Drop up to 10 statements together and the tool merges them into one ledger, sorted by date with a single running balance. That's the quick way to hand an accountant a full quarter or a whole year without stitching files by hand.
Formats your accountant uses
Export to Excel (.xlsx), CSV, JSON, QuickBooks (.qbo), or Quicken (.ofx). The QBO and OFX files drop straight into accounting software with no manual column mapping. The tool formats 9 currencies, including USD, GBP, EUR, INR, and AED, and picks up the currency from the statement on its own.
Locked PDF? Open it first
Banks like HDFC, ICICI, and HSBC often protect the PDF with a password built from your name and date of birth. If yours won't open, remove the password first with the PDF Password Remover (also entirely in your browser), then convert the clean file here.
Which banks work
Works with text-based PDF statements from virtually any bank worldwide, including major banks across the US, UK, India, and the Gulf. If you can select the text in your PDF, this tool can read it.
