Terms of Use
Last Updated: May 27, 2026
Welcome to Bank Statement Converter. By accessing or using our website and bank statement parsing tools, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These terms govern your use of the website at statementtoexcel.co and any client-side PDF parsing tools, services, and developer APIs provided by us. By using the software, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into these terms.
2. Use of the Software Tool
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our client-side software tool to parse, restructure, and export your bank statement PDFs under the following rules:
- You may use the tool for personal, professional, or commercial accounting operations.
- You may not use the tool to reverse engineer or extract the spatial grouping heuristics algorithms.
- You may not use automated scripts or bots to access or scrape our website without an authorized API key.
3. Subscriptions & Limit Policies
We offer a free anonymous tier (1 conversion per day) and a registered free tier (5 converted pages per day). For professionals and bookkeepers, we offer premium monthly, yearly, and lifetime subscription plans. Abuse of multiple registrations or scraping tools to bypass limits will result in account suspension and IP blocks.
4. Accuracy Disclaimer & Verification
⚠️ IMPORTANT REGARDING ACCURACY:
PDF parsing relies on spatial coordinates and character text layers, which differ between bank layouts. Because financial institutions modify statement layouts frequently, we cannot guarantee 100% data extraction accuracy. You must manually review, verify, and confirm all date rows, descriptions, deposits, and withdrawal amounts in the interactive grid editor before importing them into accounting software or filing financial documents. We are not liable for any discrepancies, errors, or financial reporting mistakes arising from the use of our tool.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Bank Statement Converter, its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the tool.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our business is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
